Concert visits

Once a month, from March until November, concert visits are organised in cooperation with MUSICANCY. They give visitors an opportunity to visit the chateau and witness a unique classical concert. On every occasion free reign is given to promising young artists or artists that are already well-established internationally.

Artists are invited to come up with programmes which are close to their heart and which are a bit off the beaten track. The programme also leaves room for creativity and improvisation.

MUSICANCY has already offered the audience at Ancy-le-Franc two world premieres.

The concept of these concert visits is truly original and greatly enjoyed by the audiences. Artists such as Jean-François Zygel, le Quatuor Quastagneri, Trio Wanderer, Jay Gottlieb and many others have already performed at Ancy-le-Franc.

The 2010 Season has an excellent programme in store for us.

The concerts take place in the Hall of the Guards or, in the summer, in the Honour Courtyard.

Duration of chateau tour and concert: 2 hours.

After-concert drinks are offered by a local wine maker.

Practical information

Rates: Concert visit or lecture and concert: entry 20 euros – Reduced rate: 15 euros.

Free entry for children under 12 accompanied by an adult.
