Halloween at Château d’Ancy-le-Franc

This year once again, Château d’Ancy-le-Franc is transforming for Halloween!

On the evening of October 31st, the château becomes a true palace of terror. From 7:30 pm to 11:30 pm, come and discover the château at night and enjoy an atmosphere specially created for Halloween.

This year, dive into the world of horror films and TV series, from great classics to more recent references… Rediscover these universes through different rooms decorated around themes familiar to everyone.

But the decorations won’t be the only surprises at this year’s event!

The costume competition is making a comeback, with a brand-new format: the Costume Awards!

No parade this year: it’s time for an instant photoshoot!

Come and strike a pose in your costume and have your picture taken at our dedicated photo stand. Your photo will then be displayed on the screens in the Guards’ Room, where visitors will be able to vote for their favourite costumes.

You can vote for both adults and children, but there is only one vote per category: choose carefully before casting your vote, as it could make all the difference!

Voting will remain open until 8:30 pm. Then, at 9 pm in the Guards’ Room, come and discover the winners of the Awards, divided into three categories:

Best Costume Award – Children / Teenagers (up to 16 years old)
Best Costume Award – Adults
Château Team’s Choice Award

And if you’re feeling hungry, a food truck will also be on site!

From 6:30 pm, the château gates will exceptionally open to allow you to access the Il Topolino food truck.

You can enjoy a meal before or after your visit, with the Orangery specially opened for the occasion, giving you the opportunity to sit down and eat on site.
