Art Exhibition – Le Vitrail du Geek

For this new season, we are once again welcoming Le Vitrail du Geek for an exhibition of stained glass artworks dedicated to geek culture!

Whether you wish to purchase a piece or simply admire the beauty of these stained glass works, you can find them at the castle reception area.

Here are a few words from Guillaume Grisi / Le Vitrail du Geek:

“The art of stained glass consists in cutting a carefully chosen sheet of glass, grinding each piece in order to apply copper foil around it, and then soldering the pieces together to complete the creation.

Drawn to the art of stained glass and passionate about geek culture, it was in 2020, as I approached my 40s, that I undertook technical training at the Maison du Vitrail in Paris. After returning to Burgundy, I began creating stained glass works for pleasure, inspired by pop culture. From this passion, Le Vitrail du Geek was born in 2021.

Based near Dijon, I create my stained glass pieces in my garage-turned-workshop during weekends. My works are available via my Instagram account @vitrail.du.geek, as well as at exhibitions and festivals in which I participate.”
