Dressmakers, tailors, barbers, wigmakers and hairdressers,
techniques that evolve, let a know-how that is timeless !

Fashion is a true phenomenon and a perfect reflection of a world that never stops evolving through time. Indeed, thanks to historical studies, all these appearances (textiles, headdresses, jewelry) relate the habits and customs of a society in search of elegance, ideal and social recognition.

Discover about fifty busts capped by the care of two retired enthusiasts who have devoted a large part of their lives to creating and enriching this collection. Today, the collection is owned by Franck Brat who continues to pass on his passion for this historic art of hairdressing. More than 2,000 years of history are retraced in this exhibition !

The exhibition is completed by antique costumes made by the Dame d’Atours. Care, precision and historical fidelity are applied to her creations. A good opportunity for children to dress up and compare themselves !
As a Reminder, costumes are available for free at the reception for the visit !

Single price for castle + park + exhibition :

Opening hours in June and September : Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 12:30pm and 2pm to 6pm.
Opening hours in July and August : Monday 2pm to 6pm and Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 6pm.
